The new Outlook cannot be activated on the Mac

I also had the problem that Outlook Microsoft Outlook is software with which emails can be sent and received and appointments, notes, contacts and tasks can be managed. Official Microsoft Outlook website mehr erfahren could not be switched to the new mode. I solved this by manually adjusting the settings with the terminal:
Attention: the settings are case-sensitive!

You can choose from these options:

0 = Switch hidden (default)

1 = Switch displayed, default off

2 = Switch displayed, default on
